Anthony was very knowledgeable about the area and its history and ecosystem. Irene did an excellent job of interpreting as we did not speak Spanish. Captain Edwin knew exactly where to go and we saw dolphins and whales going to and from our launch point. All 3 snorkeling spots provided opportunities to view a variety of reefs and their inhabitants, including fish, turtles, and eels. Although swimming with whale sharks was an extraordinary and unexpected bonus, every detail, from quality equipment, refreshments throughout the day and a delicious lunch, exceeded my expectations. I give Discover Coiba my highest recommendation!

The accuracy, professional style and care they took of us was awesome. It was very safe. Everyone on the boat enjoyed the experience. The fruits they give you and lunch were lovely. One of the owners is Panamanian and they hire local guides.

  This was an excellent tour!
It lasted 8 hours, and we enjoyed every single minute!
We visited 4 islands, snorkeled in 3 places and even did a Jungle Hike... read more on the Monkey Trail on Isla Coiba.
On the way over, we saw whales, dolphins and turtles that were mating.
During our snorkeling, we saw all different kinds of fish and swam with turtles.
When we made the reservation, we were asked about our choice for lunch, they had 4 (!) options. I had the fresh tuna steak, and it was as delicious as all the lunches were. When we were served, everything was still warm. The portions were so big we couldn't finish it all.
During the boat trips, we were served different kinds of refreshments like fruits, coconut water and juices.
And to top it off, we were picked up from and brought back to our hotel in Santa Catalina.

Finally, the boat is very comfortable as well compared to the other boats we saw. It really was the best day at Coiba!
